Welcome to the Pack

Hi! I'm Janna, a Dog Trainer & Behaviorist + AKC Evaluator located in Raleigh, North Carolina. These are my girls, Savannah & Harper, a Goldendoodle & Aussiedoodle!

My specialty is supporting owners with difficult dogs, puppies, & self-trained service dogs fully online & in-person through my group training experiences, and traveling training workshops.

I became a trainer after struggling with ineffective positive reinforcement & rewards-based balanced dog training solutions for my difficult and reactive dog, for over a year.

​

Despite achieving our AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Title and lots of obedience/agility skills, my Goldendoodle was still hyperactive, leash-reactive, biting, unable to settle down at home, unable to focus on leash, and resource guarding from humans… Although I was then broke… feeling defeated, frustrated, and embarrassed about my dog’s out-of-control behavior, I didn’t lose hope! I left the training center.

I began investing all of my free-time studying experts who had success using in Dog Psychology, K9 Behavior, and Pack Leadership, integrating at home as I was learning, muscling my way through Dog Training with a difficult dog to figure out what works and what DOESN’t to heal reactivity and big behavior issues.

It took 4 Weeks to get her behavior fully under control and 4-6 Months  later she graduated from “Service Dog in Training” to full “Service Dog”, being trained for cardiac medical alert & response tasks

​

Once she was under control, I brought a second dog into our pack and started Janna’s Pack K9 Training to help Dog Moms + Dog Dads get control & transform life with your difficult dog so you can lead and love life together, calmly & confidently as much as I love mine now!
